Might be off topic here but
  • once in Bootcamp how is supposed to work the touch strip bar with Windows?Will stay off ?Or will just show function keys and esc ?

Yes it was. You plug the TB3 to TB2 adapter into the TB3 port on your TB3 device, then use a TB cable to plug into the adapter.
So nice to see someone from waiting for skylake... LOL

This actually seems very interesting. Since TB3 is such a big thing on the new 15" MacBook Pro, being able to use external graphics would go a long way to being able to bypass the limitations of a low TDP discrete GPU on a laptop when needed. Could also make VR viable on the Mac.

seeing along the same time Gigabyte Asus will be coming out with their own solutions.
I wish Alienware switched their egpu to proprietary USB-C standard. Their egpu offers the least loss in terms of performance loss as compared to Desktop performance and retails for only 200$
