I got the same macbook pro ( 2ghz) deal, but the salesman keep trying to sell me AppleCare. He offered to take another $100 off if I purchase applecare along with it. So my final price $1399.99 + 349.99. Thanks for rmhop81 for the heads up.

good lord I wish I'd gotten in on that. That's awesome.

The compusa near me discounted a 2.0 mbp to 1199.99 yesterday. The guy who they discounted it to was a HUGE spender at the store though. I guess thats why they dropped it down a little more than 25 percent.
