Don't worry, I have the same issue - too red. Replaced twice, still the same issue. My first one was glossy display and had the issue, so I replaced it within 2-3 days. Second was nano texture which was worse, and it couldn't even get calibrated properly using a hardware colorimeter (Calibrite Display Plus HL). My third is again glossy - got a special exchange after using the nano texture for 40+ days. When I use the colorimeter, it keeps reading a wrong value and doesn't calibrate it properly. Read somewhere that apple made some changes on m4 displays - quantum dot and removal of cyan flash. This could be the issue. My colorimeter calibrates my friend's MacBook Pro M3 Pro perfectly. My iPhone looks the best as it looks same as my university calibrated displays. Don't know what's going on here. I also feel like manual visual tuning works but messes up other colours. Even the display models in their store are red. Did you ever find a fix?
