rs1985, it sounds like it is most likely a problem with that single game, rather than the MBP and gaming in general.

Try some other games mentioned on this thread and see if they're slow as well.

It also might help if you install 3dMark '05, and post your score so we can compare it.

It looks like your drivers are messed up. Get a better version of windows, and redo the bootcamp installation. Then, install the drivers from the Driver CD that bootcamp burned for you, DO NOT INSTALL ANY OTHER DRIVERS.

Dudes,

a macbookpro is prolly the perfect machine for gaming, I've had mine since the summer and I've played games from halo, fable, f.e.a.r. and everything in between.

If gaming was a priority, maybe a Dell XPS would of suited your needs better. But I have no problem playing games on my MBP. I have 2b ram though. And I also have safely overclocked my GPU to 450/450 (ac must be plugged in). If you're brave, you can venture to oc'ing your GPU using AtiTool.

I play all the latest games w/o a problem ^_^ And absolutely no heat issues. And I'm yet to hear of a GPU melting hehe.
