I think the only real "harm" I've heard of is the risk that if you become unplugged, or something of that nature, your lappy will immediately shut off (whereas, if you'd had a battery in, it would go to that power source), thus you'd lose whatever you were working on.generik said:Just curious, do you guys remove the battery when your laptop is connected to AC power? as to my battery stats (MB that is 3-4 weeks [since it's been opened, anyway], 7 weeks according to CoconutBattery):
Original Capacity: 5200
Current Capacity: 5011
Battery Loadcycles: 8
I mostly leave my MB plugged in (as you see from the 8 load cycles), and I just calibrated a few days ago. Man, at this rate, my battery'll be dead by the end of the year! heh
