Well after nearly 6 days, my White MacBook was delivered via FedEx. So far I'm loving it. One friend came by and saw it and said he wants to go to the apple store later on tonight and get one for himself. Apple really needs a referal program.:p

Anyway, I took some pics for those interested...

When I opened the brown box it came in I thought it was a new macbook...

What's the price for a refurbed Macbook and where do you order them?

go to the online store, scroll down a bit (about halfway down the page), on the right hand column there is a section which says "Looking for a great deal?" and it has a picture of a red tag with the word SAVE on it. Click it, and you are in the refurb store :D

I'd like to know that as well.

Also, was the MB immaculate? no scratches/dings/etc? Any issues with the heat yet?

Nothing man. It's like brand new. I mean it is brand new. I am more than pleased for what I paid for it. It's an awesome little machine.

I was wondering whether or not a refurb'd MB would come in a nice box, or a similar 'brown' box that the Airport Express & 2Gb Nano refurbs, that I've received in the past, came in.

Yeah, I was wondering the same. I heard it came in a brown box and was also told by the apple guy I ordered it from that the only difference between a new macbook and refurb was that the refurb came in a browm box.

oh well, I certainly did spend too much for my use - it is after all replacing a iBook G3 (700 mhz I believe it is !!!) that I use only on w/e. But I was going to buy a new MB then saw this refurbished MBP at virtually the same price and ... there you go.

Lets just hope that they work ok man. And yes, I can't wait to see, especially I can't wait to see how this refurbished channel turns out.

When I got my 12" PB refurb in 2004, it came in a pretty crappy brown box...guess they improved things a bit.

You've got that right!

Nice machine...my mom has one and she loves it. I'm still verrrrrrrry happy with my 12in PB though:)

Nice pictures tooo....I love seeing them!

They definitely need one, I've switched more than a few people over.

I love seeing unboxing pictures, brings back the great feeling of opening my Macbook for the first time, it's like bringing a new member into the family.

Two power cords: two ended prong and a three ended prong. The three ended thing also increases the reach from the cable.
Rectangular thing: remote to front row.

That box looks exactly the same you get with the MacBooks, minus the artwork.
