I was wondering whether or not a refurb'd MB would come in a nice box, or a similar 'brown' box that the Airport Express & 2Gb Nano refurbs, that I've received in the past, came in.

My MBP came in the generic brown box, which really didn't bother me one bit. What bothered me was that it didn't work. Aaaargg.

Fortunately I am writing on my delicious new MBP which kicks ass.

Cheers, Tom

oh well, I certainly did spend too much for my use - it is after all replacing a iBook G3 (700 mhz I believe it is !!!) that I use only on w/e. But I was going to buy a new MB then saw this refurbished MBP at virtually the same price and ... there you go.

sweet! That's the same iBook that I upgraded. Took me about 4 months, but I got it done.:D

Still crappy brown box

When I got my 12" PB refurb in 2004, it came in a pretty crappy brown box...guess they improved things a bit.

Mine MB refurb box was not nearly as nice as his. (MB CD 2.0) Only wrapped in plastic and held by two of the spongy styro stuff (1 on each side), which rubbed on the white case. Other than that the machine is perfect. Added 160GB hd and 2 GB ram loaded Windows and all my work stuff, a few games and went back to the mac side. 3 days of dual booting perfection. No more 3 year old dell at the office!!!

Cheers
