If you looked at their websites to see what they are selling *now* then you went to the wrong place. Check their news sections, press releases, and coverage of same in places like engadget and gizmodo. You'll see that top to bottom pretty much everyone has announced c2d chips in their laptop range. They'll be selling them actively as mass-ship dates approach (which is any day now...)

Seriously - if you guys were paying close attention to the announcements then you'd see this clear as day.

Took the words right out of my mouth. I actually had engadget in mind in particular.

Logically...

...the MPB's will get the upgrade at Photokina, and the MacBooks will get it later in the year, since they are newer anyhow.

I'm also looking forward to the 12" MacBook Pro which will be a photographer's dream since it will have no internal CD/DVD and so will weighh about 3.5 lbs.

Sony managed to fit a DL DVD+RW/CD+RW optical drive and 80GB HDD into an 11.1" laptop and it weighs about 2.8 pounds. C'mon Apple!

lol i can't imagine what the insides of that thing look like. if it works good though, who cares? if sony can do it, apple should be able to do it.
