My MacBook has a little case warping on the side. The opening is extremely small, but it is there nonetheless. If you look towards the right side of the picture, the case looks like it should, but towards the left, above the ports, there is an opening that will not close...is it worth replacing? I ordered it online with more ram, so does that mean that I have to send it back and then wait for another to ship?

It's hard to see in a picture...others have posted about this same problem. I think I'll keep it, since I have no mooing or whining, and it doesn't get unbearably hot.
I can see it clear as day. I wouldn't be happy about it, but I think I'd just have to learn to live with it.

Yeah there are more important/destructive flaws that could have been there, so I'm not too mad. I wish you luck for a perfect MacBook!
Above the firewire and one of the usb ports there's a little gap. I had to use screen magnifier to see it though..
I'd say its less than 0.5mm, don't worry about. If it gets any bigger, take it in asap.

I see a very slight upward bowing of the laptop lid. I've had mine two days and after I saw the image, I closed my macbook's lid and saw the same thing. I'd chalk it up to acceptable fault tolerance in the production process (or the case molding process). It's certainly nothing to worry about, as I had to positively stare at that picture for awhile to see the 'warping'.

When I brought my TI powerbook it retailed for over 3k. now you can get a macbook for 1k. If you paid 3k for it maybe but when you buying a lowend product... People do get replacements for real problems, which other companies will probably not even look at.
My Macbook isnt the right shade of black can i return it? It really doesnt watch my dell monitor.

If somebody wants a 100% perfect to them laptop you need to buy it used and check it out for yourself. If you really think it is a problem take the 10% hit and return it.
You're not fussy, this has been a problem ever since Apple started making Aluminium PowerBooks. And I've seen some really bad ones too, I've never had a problem though.Mitch Brown said:

Apple is becoming a victim of their success. With all the sales of iPods, they are getting a lot of people buying Macs because it is "cool" or "trendy" or "it matches my decor". These same people know little about computers and set their expectations WAY too high to a level Apple could never meet.
