I really hope you get it swapped for a new one.

I've got my 2nd replacement coming in the post soon. Although I've had to email Apple already to speed the delivery along a little. Has anyone else notice their slow delivey of late?

I'm fully prepared to be sending in my 2nd replacement for dead pixels / heat / something wrong. I just want a working MacBook, but Apple don't seem to be able to provide at the moment! It's crazy!!!

I whent through 10 macbooks number 11 is ok. sits flat (does not wobbel when you put you're hands on it and no deadpixels or blackspots on the outside..

i also think that the left hand corner on the normal macbooks will bend because there is nothing to hold it down like a heavy battery.. on the non bent ones you can also slightly lift the corner.. without tilting it just think apple should have put a bit more reinforcement into it... but as long as it sits straight on the desk i have no problems with it.. but its brand new so i hope it doesn't start ;)

Well, my 3rd MacBook seems to be fine! So far Ive not seen any dead pixels and it's sitting perfectly flat on my desk! Yay! Although I'm going to give it some time... who knows what might happen!

You: Hi, I have a weird problem with my Macbook ; it wont sit flat on ANY surface...

Genius: Hmm. Never heard of that before, let me see your Macbook.
You: There.
Genius: Nooope! I still can't see the problem.

Genius: Have you installed new non-Apple RAM module recently?

You: .. Yep, just upgraded to 2Gb.

Genius: Then, that's why your Macbook wont sit flat.

Genius: NEXT!

hilarious! :D

Apple, you suck.

I've just noticed a dead pixel in the middle of my screen which I can't take my eye off. That and my airport KEEPS dropping the connection. It's fine on an iBook I have in the house, so I very much doubt it's my wireless connection! This MacBook is going back. I'm gonna get my money back I think, unless they can persuade me otherwise.
