From the Boot Camp license agreement:

Term of License. The term of this License shall commence upon your installation or use of the Apple Software and will terminate automatically without notice from Apple upon the next commercial release of the Apple Software, or September 30, 2007, whichever occurs first.

So, your Boot Camp beta either expires when they release the commercial version or on September 30th, 2007. By that time Leopard will already be released and it will be built-in.

Nice find. I think that's plenty of time. So it looks like the customers buying from Mac Mall aren't getting screwed after all. I don't think $150 for at least a year of use is all that bad, especially since Leopard will be out by then.

EDIT: I'm guessing the next commercial release of the Apple Software is referring to the release of Leopard. Am I right in assuming this or no?

I think this means the next commercial release of the Boot Camp software, which would be the first (non-beta) commercial release.

Am I right in thinking that will be when Leopard ships though? Or would they release it before then? Or maybe they'll release Boot Camp as a program for Tiger also so that anyone that doesn't want Leopard but still wants Windows on their Mac can go ahead and do it that way?
