Ok so patch, click reboot and leave it?
Yes run the post install patches, remember to select your model of mac from the drop down click patch then reboot
give a while and cross your fingers. If that doesn't work then erase the disk install Mojave again, do the post install patches etc and reboot.

@dosdude1 Hello good morning I made a installation yesterday macbook 8,2 external HD via USB after using the patch the video did No graphics acceleration before the patch worked changed anything?
The 1b4 patch is not working for macbook pro late 2011 [macbook 8,2] no graphics aceleration @0403979
As stated earlier, the legacy GPU patch is NOT installed by default on ANY MACHINE. To use it and get acceleration, you must select it manually in the post-install tool.

I thought he that’s what @gugadj did. I guess I should have asked them.
[doublepost=1531234450][/doublepost]@dosdude1 When I click patch and then reboot it hangs. Never reboots by itself. Same thing after it’s installed and it asks to reboot. This is on a MacBook 7,1

That has an AMD video card. As stated on the OP, even with the Legacy Video Card patch, you will not get acceleration.

It'll work if you have the AMD video card disabled.
yes I do not use AMD is disabled it is activated when using external video? I do not use!

even though I do not have acceleration using only the intel, this only happens with patch 1b4

With Beta 4, you need to select the Legacy Video Card patch manually in the post-install tool, it is not installed by default as I said.

Do I have to click reboot and then shut down and start up or just shut down and start up.
When running the Post-install patch, click reboot, wait awhile, and if it doesn't do anything just hard reset the machine.

I’ve rebooted manually and still have a prohibitory sign upon boot.

After I install macOS Mojave I went and applied the legacy video patch on my iMac 9.1 I got transparency on the desktop for a few seconds then my iMac rebooted and had to reinstall Mojave again this time I left the force rebuild cache unchecked and my iMac booted a bit faster and the graphics are better with just the wallpaper
