Updated to 14.4 Beta 1 on my M1 MacBook Air (10,1)
Brave, Firefox, Google Chrome, Discord, Parallels, Raycast, AltTab, CleanShot X are crashing immediately.

Definitely felt too brave after 14.3 betas werent so destructive xP
I wonder if it's a skill issue of mine or Beta hiccup.

I only have one of those apps - Firefox - and it works perfectly, as do all my other apps.

I'd try re-installing the beta.

If it were me, I'd restore to the point just before I installed the beta, then install the beta again.

It'll take time, of course. Or just live without those apps until the next beta comes. I assume you've tried re-installing the individual apps?

Good guys, you've messed around to see if the native mail client of Mac (Mail) is going to work and synchronize with the rest of the devices, because it's a **** that you can postpone an email and then you can't edit it, delete it, or whatever from another device.

Reinstalling doesn't help really as I assume it's not Apple business, I don't bother to report it but recovery seems to be messed up.

For now will wait for full installer, if reinstalling won't work will wait for a fix as it might be my device hiccup. Recovery either wants to reinstall older version of Sonoma for some reason or even Ventura which isn't really possible unless drive will be erased so in full installer I trust, eventually I tinker around superscripts and Safari again xP
Just noticed that Visual Studio Code crashes too.

You won't get a full installer for this beta or probably any other 14.4 beta. RC, if you're lucky.

Safari 17.4 giving me a coup0le of issues. I can't sign in to one of my banks. I get these two messages:

TinyGrab Screen Shot 1-31-24, 2.47.11 PM.png TinyGrab Screen Shot 1-31-24, 2.48.35 PM.png

Opens fine in Firefox.

Also some times Safari will freeze on a site and require a quit and reopen of Safari.

I lost use of my USB Hub on this build. Never experienced that ever before. I am running on an M3.

Anyone here testing it with a new iMac M3, 24/8/10/4Port with Magic Trackpad? When I first got it, the MT had lag/sudden jump/pause when using. I set up the Mac clean, no migration at all. Then updated to Sonoma still had the issue. Then updated to 14.3, it has gotten better, but it's still there. Did the unpair, and pair again, safe mode unpair and pair again, test user. The only way its 100 percent is when connected directly by cable.

Ayone else having major problems with Screen Recording permissions (Privacy) prefs? No matter what I do, the apps that I've granted permission to always cause a prompt AGAIN when I start try to record the screen, take a screenshot etc. This includes CleanShot X, Screenflick, Bartender, Jump Desktop, and all others. (Not MAS apps though)

@bogdanw Already did that -- doesn't work. Did you test it yourself?
I don't have macOS 14.4 Beta 1.
If resetting ScreenCapture doesn’t fix the problem, you could also try resetting all TCC permissions

Code:
tccutil reset All

or deleting the TCC database (~/Library/Application\ Support/com.apple.TCC/TCC.db) from Recovery.
