That looks like a usability nightmare. It would work okay on simple backgrounds, but imagine you have a photo or something as a wallpaper — the UI would become unusable.
And inside there is this room where icons sit and have reversed names and text inside the apps. The best feature? There is no way out🤣
This is exactly what I want to hear.
Apple had the age of pretty. They managed to get rid of that and we got decent keyboards and ports back and are serious business territory. I' hope that the same engineering mentality applies to software which is a little rough in that department.
I dislike this trend we have for all application icons to be the same shape. Shape is an important differentiator.
But, as always in the 21st century Apple design ethos, usability must come second to looking good in the keynote.
