MacOs app launcher not working

Since upgrading to the beta the app launcher in the dock no longer works for me anyone else found this ?

It does. It’ll take longer to open on the beginning but it’ll get back to normal after awhile.

Does it launch from /Applications? If not check what the streaming log shows as error.

Not tried that yet my workaround has just to use finder and select the applications from there but the apps icon does nothing.

Maybe it's a dead shortcut. Just remove it and drag the Apps.app from Applications in its stead (since it works when you use Spotlight, that should too).

Found a solution using cmd+space to bring up spotlight and it works fine!

Had the same problem. Used the cmd+space and that worked and then the "Apps" icon in the dock started working also.

Well known issue, sometimes happen after every restart, just be patient. Use Finder or CMD+Space.

As others have said just use cmd+space and it should work ok
