When there is a new macOS release, please be sure to let us know about the issue's status by moving it to either "Remaining Issues" or "Resolved Issues"
  • macOS 15 Sequoia will be installed via a Delta Update in System Settings. Please be aware about this and the update won’t install with an installer.

In Settings > Apple Intelligence & Siri, I can't turn on the 'Listen For' option. When I do I get a screen asking me to set it up as the per the screenshot, but it's as if it doesn't hear me and the screen just disappears after a few seconds. Anyone else get this?

Why we cannot have text freeze the pointer when one is typing so the cursor doesn't wonder and makes one's sentence incoherent, then one got hunt where the text went in the document...it's really annoying...this was supposedly a part of Sonoma's feature, but it continues in Sequoia...

just updated to b3 and noticing a new bug. When my computer goes to sleep while connected to an external display (LG ultrafine 5k via USB-C), the monitor will power down and then power just the backlight back on showing a black screen. Tried with a different LG4k via usb-c and the same issue. Anyone else experiencing this? 16" MBP m3 max

Am I alone to encounter this issue?

I'm not able to change tint of the skin of emoticons in all apps with keyboard? 😳

not only the monitor will not turn off, but also may goes to kernel panic and restart after mac entering sleep. very severe bug.

The temporary solution is enable prevent automatically sleeping when the display is off when you connect an external monitor, especially for mac mini and mac studio.

will try this (as i was going to explore options tomorrow anyway). no kernal panics or restarts here tho (yet)....

EDIT: that did NOT fix it for me... am gonna investigate some more (as soon as i get a chance) and report back. also, i am running clamshell, and wondering if other's with the issue are also using that (obviously, not desktop mac users).

perhaps this should have it's own thread too...

Seconded here - M3 Max Macbook no longer goes to sleep - connected to a studio display and the studio display stayed on all night on the lock screen

Experiencing similar issues with the Mac going to sleep since updating to 15.1 Beta 3. Mac Mini M2 Pro with LG 27UP85NP-W, and also when an additional XP-Pen Artist Pro 14 (Gen2) is connected. They worked fine before the update.
