You should install something that shows CPU activity in the menu bar. And have a look in Activity Monitor when it gets too high.

I have some processes going crazy once a day, that normally don't use the CPU at all for the things I am doing. I only noticed it, because I heard the fans of my iMac and it got hot in the middle of the chin.

Is it me or is it not possible to search by Date through the years anymore. Prior to Sequoia I could enter, day, "19.10" and would be should all images taken on that day. Now I get a
n avalanche of pictures that contain the digits etc in some form. Is that a bug, a feature they killed or am I just missing something?
