Just out of curiosity, why would Broadcom make VMware Fusion free for personal use?

I expect it's because large corporate network applications are more their bread and butter (considering their other VMware products), so they're not losing much income by giving it away for personal use and those who do might be more likely to choose their products for commercial applications. Just my thoughts.Just out of curiosity, why would Broadcom make VMware Fusion free for personal use?
I can confirm this. In fact, when Broadcom bought VMware I was concerned that they might stop giving fusion away for free.It was free long before Broadcom

Has anyone successfully used their Apple ID on MacOS 15 yet. I been trying for three days with UTM and Parallels. I did a clean install on my M1 MacMini.
You have to make a new VM with the macOS 15 ipsw file for it to even be a possibility. Beyond that it would not surprise me if it's not fully fledged in beta 1.Has anyone successfully used their Apple ID on MacOS 15 yet. I been trying for three days with UTM and Parallels. It's listed as a known issue (i.e., not working in a VM) for the first developer beta for Sequoia. You have to make a new VM with the macOS 15 ipsw file for it to even be a possibility. Beyond that it would not surprise me if it's not fully fledged in beta 1.
This why the EU passed the law in first place... gatekeepers telling you what you can can use and what not. Notarization will also fall for that reason.Apple rejected an App Store submission for UTM on iPhone and iPad, and also refused to notarize the app so that it could be listed on third-party app stores in the EU.
