What are you upgrading your 2015-2017 Macbook 12" to?

A base model 2020 MBA M1 13" goes for $704-799 on Amazon.

That's the closest Mac laptop to a MB

I’m not. Most of my machines are staying on mojave because its the last mac os where everything works. I‘ll keep one on Big Sur to open files that couldn’t be migrated back down, but once those files are done being recreated in mojave, thats it. An office & lab full of reliable, working macs on peak OS X.

When we need anything newer than that, it’s an addition to the ios/internet ecosystem instead.

Staying on macOS Big Sur on MacBook 2015. Does the light work ok even now. Still good for travel.

"if" or "when" I upgrade, it will be to the MacBook Air (probably in a few years).

"Hoping" that the time I want to upgrade..a new 12" MacBook that is thin and light will come out, but as the trend for larger screens is currently popular, I might have to wait awhile or it may never happen. :(
