Sorry that this is late. I have been hearing that Apple has been taking down iOS and watchOS and putting them back up multiple times. No one mentioned a macOS update, and my notifier didn't notify me about the update.

This update put me into recovery mode. I'd wait a bit before updating. Never had that happen before.
Same, so far we've updated a couple of laptops at work and both went into recovery mode and asked for local password. bhodinut are your laptops on an MDM?

Hello,

I had the same issue on a couple of MacBooks at work. I believe all of them are M1s and all of them are on Jamf MDM. Funny enough my MacBook Air M2 did not have recovery step at all.

No it hasn't! 🙁
At least not on this Intel Mini 2018.

On the first restart from install… Boom! There they were.
Going to take your word for it. For some reason, I am not getting the issue anymore.

What app is spamming it for you so I can do more research on the issue?

DXO Photolabs…
Sony Imaging Edge Desktop (which was uninstalled ages ago).

Anyway, I live with it. At least it didn't look like the image I posted. So a bit better! 🤣

What popup spam?
This. 🙁

What version of Safari do folks have after the Ventura 13.2.1 update?
Mine is reported as 16.3 in 'Get Info' and 16.3 (18614.4.6.1.6) in About Safari.'
But I was expecting 16.3.1...

After upgrade to 13.2.1 I cannot get any background light on my keyboard (MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2019, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports). When I start the Mac (before login) the keyborad is lit but in the login process the light disappears and the touch bar keys to change intensity does not work. I also have a bar in my control centre to adjust brightness but when I drag it to brighter it immediately returns to zero when I stop dragging.
Crazy!

Hi,

looks like this is a known issue. JAMF just made an announcement about this issue.
