IDK maybe some people are just more sensitive. This is still my favorite forum--been a member since 2008--don't post that much but managed to get over 1800 posts without getting anyone too upset--so all is good. :)

Hi there,

Does anyone know any other forum that has users with iPhones, unbiased, quality posts, and overall better than macrumors ? This is filled with people with other brands mocking apple users with their posts, especially about the whole bendgate. I mean there are posts stating that the i6 is pointless when compared to android phones and only rich people buy it and crap that is rarely interesting.

Don't mind a PM if you'd rather keep it on the low to avoid trolls from filling up there as well.

Get over it? Don't like the comments/trolling, well get over it and ignore it. You just have to ignore those who don't know what they're talking about. Or put them on your ignore list. In the end, it's just a phone. Not a family member they're making making comments about. Not that big of deal. ;)

First off, you are posting in the wrong part of the forums, so this thread is off topic.

Second, I have ben a member here for over a year and never had a problem.

Third, if it really pains you that much, why did you even bother signing up?

And lastly, these sorts of posts really get on my nerves, please if you want to vent your anger, at least do it in the right sub forum.

I hope you reported this thread to the proper personnel.

I know and fully agree with you. But is it hard to find a forum where everyone makes intelligent discussions ?

Whenever I open this forum here are numerous fanboy/fearmongering/trolling posts that just puts the forum's quality down.

Sure, look up message boards related to Shakespeare. I was going to say literature, but then there's a lot of really badly written books out there. :p

Don't let those threads bug you. If you want to talk about something that no one else is, don't be afraid to post it. The people who are interested will join in.

Thank you for replying :) Oh yeah I mean look at the negative replies to this thread, it's pretty hilarious.

Flashback is a Swedish board, but posting in english is okay and 100% of the people there know english, you need to be over 18 because Flashback is a forum that follows freedom of speech very closely.

https://www.flashback.org/f387 Link to the mac forum, click "nytt ämne" to make a new poast on the board.

I'll see you there ;-)

I recommend Appleinsider. Not because it's a good forum, because once you go there you'll see the relative sanity of macrumors. At AI nearly every thread becomes threadjacked with rants about Obama, immigration, white superiority, the Ebola virus being proof of white superiority, and somehow this can all be blamed on Samsung and Google.

You have people there who are opening up their iphones to see if their are Samsung chips and demanding a refund, people there who claim they'll take their kids out of the public school system if their school uses chromebooks. It's truly a bizarre, surreal place.

No. I've been on a large number of Apple rumour websites. And MR though far from perfect is still one of the best websites to have Apple related discussion on. Many of the other sites have the following:
- Articles so biased, factually wrong and claiming they can confirm Apple dealings instead of only Apple themselves, they make MR look damn good in comparison
- Forum moderators that break their own rules all the time but if you speak up about it or break one of their rules, insta infraction or total ban.
- Forum competitions that are so rigged everyone knows who will win before the competition even starts
- Other forum members that hate on any opinion that does not agree with their own very harshly. The forum moderators often ban the people who speak up about this and the forum bullies are left untouched.

The grass is not greener on another forum. Your choice if you stay here or leave, but just beware you're in for a much worse time if you do leave here.

Thanks. I decided to stay and control the quality of my posts and ignore hate comments, seems like the best way to do it. I do appreciate how quickly people reply when I post a question thread, that is something other forums and even the Apple subreddit don't have. Although the replies can be biased at times, but I guess this is the nature of all forums.

The forum is now a bit more relaxed and friendly, I guess the time I signed up and started posting was during the iPhone release and there was an influx of new users that pissed of the regulars here or everyone was concerned and anxious to get their new phones haha.
