Tokina 12-24 mm on a Nikon D80? I'm totally guessing. It's a rather diameter lens, but also really short. Add that to a smallish camera, and it makes the lens look massive.

Thats my old camera, Nikon D80 with Tokina 12-24mm F4 uwa lens. Got some great shots in Africa with it (where that picture was taken).
Edit - abstract totally nailed that one. D80 with 12-24. And yes it looks huge on the little d80 body
