New one, taken at my U's botanical garden. One of the few pics of me I like. (My self-esteem is not good right now, although I've never been attractive to begin with :p)

My eyes came out weird, though.

That is one of my life goals, to make it to Australia and snorkel the nature. This was a cheaper option :D.... But I dream of going to Australia one day!

Yes, unfortunately money always becomes a factor when it comes to international travel. For me I simply make it a priority - some of my friends buy new plasma TVs, motorbikes, etc. whereas I spend my money on world experience. To each their own. :)

When the times is right for you, just let me know and I'd be happy to provide you with any travel advice you might like. :)

I hear that in some countries the Peace sign is equivalent to flipping ppl off. Is that true?

It depends on whether you give the gesture palm-in or palm-out. If you gesticulate in the same manner as if you were giving them the bird, then yes it is considered the same; If however you provide the gesture palm-out it doesn't carry the same connotation.

Oops. My bad.

I thought about saying something as well. With your palm inwards it is an offensive gesture here in the UK. It is widely believed that is originated from British Archers (bow fingers) in an act of definace against the Frech. Of course there is a wiki article on it here.

Isn't there a rumor about the "middle finger" with the British and French as well? If not, I'd like to know how that one started as well..

edit sorry, I heard about the "incorrect origin" reading about it here apparently they said the french cut it off so the british couldn't use their bow, false I guess, however it makes sense to me.

I apologize if I offended anyone. I will remove the images until you or another moderator tells me it's okay to put them back up.

They simply look better on people.

Unless you're Harry Potter, circular frames look silly, imo.

Harry Potter even looks stupid with those round little glasses. Lennon was the only one to successfully pull them off. Ozzy has tried, and to an extent (if for no other reason than his "If you don't like my little round glasses go to hell" attitude) made them work, but, really, only John Lennon pulled it off.

The rectangular glasses are simply awesome, and according to all clinical studies, raise the assumed intelligence of the wearer by a hearty percentage. Period.

So true. Priorities.

It's fun to see the world. Want to see more of it! :)

Your perception of reality is all you have.
Most interesting observation.

And, as an old fart who's been around a while, you look fine to me.
Completely agree. It was a nice pic. You look fine.

Just think. Someday you'll look back at that picture and realize just how great you looked and how much you would like to be that age again. Ha ha!

Sweet! :D

Nice pic! :)
