That's pretty cool, they're like the $20mil dionosaurs of modern computers. I wonder if it will be the same, looking back 20 years from now onto MacBooks etc and people saying how expensive, huge and old they are. I know even when i look at my mums laptop from '98 I comment on it's thickness.

Macbooks are pretty thick, but now with all this snazzy electronics coming out, we have ssd's and soon enough we may have laptops just as thick as a cd.

oh and 1000th post.

To put their performance in perspective:
According to what I can find, the US Army reckon the Cray 2 had a peak of 2-4 GFlops.

The Xeon 5550 (Nehalem) has a number-crunching performance of 99.38 gigaflops. :)

You remind me of one of my mates who's at westminster uni, keep the hair short bro, it's the way forward :D

Haha, ta! It's a lot easier to manage shorter. Cooler in the summer months too!

It must be the hair, but pic No. 2 reminded me of this guy.

...except you're smiling.

Hey...I'm not that wrinkly/grumpy! :p

If I may ask, why do you have raised eyebrows and don't look at the camera in the 1st and last photo?

I have no idea! Just one of my 'looks' I guess! I don't take many photos of myself anymore...these were when I was a little vainer...

Is there a giant fan mounted on the ceiling directly above your right shoulder?

Classic, lol.

Some people in my high school had haircuts like that, and I swear in a given 50 minute class they must have had to move their hair out from in front of their face a good 20 times, at least. I don't get it, but each to his own.

My new tattoo. Had it done on Saturday the 11th. It took almost 3 hours and I sat the entire time no breaks, haha. It's my second and I'm working on plans for my next few.

Got me a haircut. First time with short hair in years, I decided to finally stop being a moptop.

Thats my aunt who buzzed me next to me.

Haha, I was! Even to this day, every time I pull it out of my pocket I get giddy because it's so awesome. You can see my old BlackBerry Curve in the bottom of the picture, which was I think my 4th one, but no problems with the iPhone...as if there would be, haha.

I'm the same way with mine. :D
