Mind you this guy is not representative of the mind set of the average male on these forums. At the very least, he is not representative of me. I am a straight as an arrow, but I always get slightly uncomfortable feeling when a girl posts pictures on forums and the guys act like its the first time they have ever seen a girl before.

I'm not so much talking about him specifically as he has been a member here for ages. But some guys here in general. At least thats the vibe they give off. Creepy or not, its not really my concern, just calling it like I see it.

Your observation has not gone unheeded, and I understand your point. But I'm pretty sure IUN can take it. Shes a big girl. She always plays along, and usually makes it pretty funny. :p

Yes, I've been here long enough to know the SOP when a girl posts pics here. This isn't my first time on the iNteRneTz LOL, its all fun with the guys here.

So, ANYWAYS....yoyo528, aren't fangirls part of the appeal of DJing?

I understand your point but you have to admit, a pretty girl posting her pic on a forum that clearly favors the male presence, will result in those responses. Anywhere from "Let's chat on AIM" or "I'd hire her". I'm sure these people, some of them, function like adults in their offline lives with a bit more dignity; or I'd hope so.

I know if I posted a picture like that in everything I wrote, e-mail, here etc, I just may get a response like that or any for that matter. I do not and I'm unable to produce a picture of myself that ranks up there with the ones by UID so I take to talking to myself.

I think it's fine UID posts these photos. She is confident, rightfully so, and she commands the attention of the men and boys around here ... and I am certain they're thanking her for it. If I looked like her I'd probably post a pic or two, that's for certain.

Now I must go back to e-mailing myself for good measure. :D

I'm sure she's enjoying the attention she's getting. :p She's hot. If I have washboard abs, I would certainly show it off and would be flattered if some girl said she's all excited looking at my pics. :D

And no, it's not the first time I've seen a girl. I'm engaged. ;)

Frankly, "seasoned" works. I don't find it offensive and I think I tend to find offense in the lease offensive things sometimes so if I don't think it is, then it must be ok ... right? Bad theory but it's all mine.

I guess it goes both ways. I mean I can say I like my men like I like my meat ... aged and thick. :D

Hey, aren't you that dude who was calling girls sluts and then telling people they liked it?

I'm sure InvalidUserId is a big girl and she can take care of herself.

Though I do wonder what's wrong with her Id. Did Ego and SuperEgo gang up and break Id's legs or something? My guess is it's cos Ego thinks Id is all about the milkshake and SuperEgo thinks you shouldn't show your bra in public.

Yes, I am a dude. No, I wasn't calling any specific person a slut, I stated that *some* girls take that name as a complement, or just another form of the word 'girl'.

And I know she can take care of her self, blah blah blah, white noise, whatever else. She seems like a really good person. I told you it just seems a bit awkward when you are on a computer forum because you draw a mental image of what a 'typical' reader here looks like (anyone who hears Technology Forum assumes the average member has the typical nerd stereotype look, be honest) and then imagine them drooling over a girl who posted pictures.

I am all for girls posting pictures here and all that stuff, just saying my thoughts. Many forums I go to are like this, and as soon as a girl posts a pic and guys get all over them, they never return. I have seen girls complain about this, saying guys don't make it a welcome place, or they make them feel uncomfortable, etc. Not here specifically because I am new here, but other places. Now I know how things work here, I will just keep my mouth shut bout it.
