I know that in the military they hold like cloth things (cant remember what they are called) that signify rank and honors, but I think in his case he is just wearing it for fashion.
EDIT: 100th Post YAY! And I have only been here for like 2 weeks. Wow perhaps I should get a life... Nahhh.
They're called "epaulets" (French for "shoulders") and are used to hold slide-on boards that denote rank, for the military. I had to look it up too.

Not the first time that's been said to me. I used to be a lot thinner and really did look like him. A guy once came up to me in a pub and interrupted a conversation with me and my girlfriend at the time to tell me that and wouldn't shut up about it for ages until I told him, in rather less pleasant language, to go away before he really got my dander up
It is a picture thread after all. I get stick for chatting too much in this thread and now for posting too many pics. Maybe I should just stay out of it and make everyone happy! I know i'm no looker but sheesh!
