Interesting, I'm in b'ham too.
Yeah, and if it's available on my iPhone apps I would give your show a go. Unless it interrupts my afternoon show "The Wilkow Majority". He might not want to advertise his show on here. I'd take a PM.

I'm on 101.1 The Source. No apps yet, but we do have a mobile site at http://www.101wyde.com. Just point your phone's browser there and you can stream live. Of course you can pick up the web stream at that address on your desktop or laptop as well.
I'm on Saturday mornings from 6-8 am. I fill in during the week sometimes as well, like tomorrow morning. I'll be subbing in for the morning guy (Michael Hart) from 6-9 am. If you miss that I'll be filling in for Lee Davis (the midday guy) from 11 am-1 pm on Friday.

Took this pic right after I finally made the switch to contacts last friday!
Thanks, Lee! That means a lot coming from you! Now imagine what I'll look like when I'm 30.And the transition to seriously cute continues. Prof, you are a very good looking guy.
Hey now! What's up with that?

What year and model is your LP?
No idea, but it's old. Not a Gibson, but I'm guessing some obscure Japanese replica, it's not too bad. This summer I'm going to scour the net for either a used Gibson, Greco, Edwards or get a new Edwards straight from Japan.
Cool! The name doesn't mean so much so long as it plays well and sounds good. The older the better.. I love the sound from old guitars. My teacher had a mid-70's Martin acoustic that sounded like ice cream in my ears.
Brand is meaningless if the guitar doesn't play and sound well. You can find great cheap guitars and awful expensive guitars (I know Gibson has produced quite a few lemons). And that's why you try it before you buy it.
Martin guitars are fantastic. I've played a few, I feel I can play anything when I get one in my hands. Unfortunately, they do cost quite a lot.
