Your door's lock uses skeleton keys? It looks too new for that. I don't think a door in the U.S.A. has used that kind of locking mechanism for 50 or 60 years.

I took this picture fairly recently (as in, here in Germany) so that would explain the door thing. Old fashioned, but I really like them anyway. I'm really horrible with directions, plus I was interested, so I looked up where Großer Gleichberg and Gleichberg are. Birkenfeld is 48° 52? N, 08° 38? O, and Gleichberge is 50° 23' N, 10° 53' O... Taking an educated guess, It's not too far off? Never was too good with coordinate points though
