Yeah, most people tell me I look like a 15-16 year old, but in some cases, people have asked if I was 20:eek: Another user here said I looked like anyhing between 14 and 20... I didn't read your comment, I was all piped up for WWDC, not looking in other threads than the "WWDC 2006 Keynote Coverage" thread...:D

You didn't read my comment because as soon as I posted it I decided I better check your profile to see if it stated your age, and it does, so I promptly edited my post. :)

This is me 3 weeks ago, got a haircut/crew cut so it will take a few weeks before I can go crazy with the hair styles again :D

Please do post pictures. I wanna know what layered hair looks like.

I got my hair layered and it looked like crap. I was growing out my hair and the barber suggested some layering. I was like "allright" he cut most of my hair off, that I had been growing for half a year.

Maybe he's talking about a different kind of layering.

There's a type of procedure that girls (I'm not sure about guys, or if they'd want it done) can get at the salon that's kind of like "layering" colors, so they get different shades of dye thrown in. I had it done a few years ago and they called it 'weaving'. It looked great so when I went somewhere else to get another haircut, I asked if they did 'weaving' but they thought I meant a weave.

I thought that while reading your post and you'd think people in the industry would know their terms best.

Judging from your description, I wouldn't call that layering of colors or even "weaving" sounds like a good quality "highlighting" job to me-- real highlighting usually includes the customary lighter shades as well as darker shades for full contrast and impact.

I guess it was a type of highlighting job. But with highlights of varying shades. I didn't think of describing it like that back then, though. I don't know. I'm not too much into getting my hair done. I usually just go in for a quick cut and that's it.

I love PhotoBooth

1) Me
2) Me again
3) Me with bed head
4) Me w/Xray effect

The first one is before I got it layered, the second one is after. Notice its a lot less heavy on top and on the sides. I told her not to cut my bangs or back though. Also I usually brush my hair to the side.
