Did somebody say READER RABBIT???

THAT GAME WAS AWESOME. I remember playing that all the time along with Math Blaster.

I even still have the box.

This is reader rabbit 2. Made for Windows 3.1 and features 256-color svga. Requires 25MHz + Processor, 4MB+ RAM, 7mb HD space, and Windows 3.1. This software was made in 1993. The software comes on 2 3.5" Floppy Disks. Wow- We have come a LONNGGGG way.

This is bringing back joyous memories :(

Reader Rabbit was one of the defining figures of my childhood. If only he was still around...

Although he may not be massed produced like he once was by The Learning Company, he lives within all of us, and will forever.

Reader Rabbit has a special place in my heart.

EDIT: Gah WildCowboy you beat me to it!

That was hideous how the developers of the company that bought it talked trash about the original developer for all to see in the introduction.

It was a decent typing trainer, though.

Anyone remember "Sticky Bear Math".

I am thinking of a Mac OS game from like 3rd grade that had to do with Math and Race Cars. After getting a certain number of math equations right you would make money, buy a race car, and race it. There was an old version where the car would race for you, but in the newer version you could drive the car yourself.

Wasn't there some Oregon Trail thingy? We use to play that all the time in elementary school but not any type trainer

We had green monochrome macs....I think...I'm pretty sure...and they had HUGE floppy disks for the lamest games. it was like...0.5 frames per seconds. :)

The name of it escapes me too.. I was just thinking about it the other day, used to run like a charm on our old IIcx.

EDIT: Just remembered!! Turbo Math Facts?

I LOVE THAT GAME. I though it was something I was imagining. It was like...

You decided to cross the river:

You lost:
124 pounds of foood
12039324 kids
23049 ... donkeys

ugh. that game was mean to me. but I really need to find that game ... somewhere. :)

Hahahahahaha. I have Oregon Trail. I bought it at the Apple Store with my iMac. Actually me and my friends were just talking about that game today, and always looking forward to Oregon Trail in the computer lab.

count chocula, cool pics. Now, talk me through this. What exactly is skim boarding? Do you need lubricant? Lubricant can make even the most mundane tasks fun.

Skim boarding is where you take this thin wooden board and you throw it down in the sand near the edge of the water and then you jump on it and you go across the wet sand/water. Its pretty fun. That's how I do it, i'm not sure how count chocula does it. No lubricant is required its just the board and the water.
