:D Wow! How exactly do you tell if it's false colour or not then?
1. The false color ones are extremely off-color, so my inability to distinguish certain colors (like blue vs. violet) doesn't stop me from noticing when things are complete off kilter, like this one. In other words, the effects aren't subtle enough to confuse me.

2. I probably get 'em wrong sometimes and nobody minds.

Yes, amazing. When you can say: "Syv syge sømænd på en synkende skude" in less than 3 seconds, I'm amazed:D

Meh, I could go on for hours:p

Skal vi ikke bagtale Doctor Q, nu han ikke kan forstå dansk?:D

BTW Killyp, he said "You are truly a genius. I couldn't have pronounced it better myself", in the post where he qouted your "this in dansih" thingy...:p

Why the link? (all out of bullets)

He's too busy doing push ups to be able to post individual links. Of course, the fact that non-MySpace users can't see the photos might be a problem.

Hmm, I never new this thread existed until Doc Q censored one of my posts and I found out where his most recent activity had been. How fortuitous.

Here I am after the Chicago marathon...still able to stand.

Looks like last year's medal, yes?

I've run that one three times - great marathon. :)

Is it relatively flat, or hilly? Average temps? I thought it used to be in October, or maybe that was NYC or Grandma's?

Still able to smile is a great accomplishment, too.

I have a pic of me after my marathon but unfortunetely its got sample all over it :( I bought the hard copy but not the digital one. You definitely look in better condition then I was!

Its pretty flat and brisk in the late October morning.

I signed up about 12 hours too late this year and did not actually get into the race. Mayhaps next year (or New York's or Madison's).

Same, here. They sent out non-digital finishes. My last one was cold and nasty (December).

Sure looks painful. I couldn't imagine how it would be like to run for almost 3 hours straight. Hate running.

Wow, thats a really good time!!! Thats 16.71km/hr or 10.38miles/hr, amazing!

How long did you train or how much do you run?

Chicago is just great - flat, the weather is usually cool, good crowds - and then that last hill at the end - bastards. :)

New York is not to be missed, although I tend to to the crappiest there. I've run it twice and both were my second to worst times.

Big Sur is also one that every marathoner should do. That one is the toughest thing I have ever done.

Philly is meh, although I ran my two best times there and Delaware suxxorz, but its close so I used to always run it.

Marine Corps is overated.

Cheers.

It'd quality for Boston, but actually that's about a 7 min./mile (6.59) or about 9 miles per hour. Anyway, I ran coming off an injury (knee) and had to do the last month's workout in the gym with weights. I'd had a good base of 6 months running, with at least one long run (15+miler) a week, before the injury. This one included a dash behind bushes for a pee stop at 15.

Only once? I'm usually so loaded up with water that I remember getting off the busses for the NYC Marathon nearly unable to walk. Hundred of runners line up on the Verrazano Narrows bridg abotu mile 2 to take a leak off the bridge. :D

Are you still runnig, or did your injury put you out of it?

I had back surgery in the fall and gained a ton of weight, but am hopng to get back into it for next fall's season. :)

My large arse hating life around mile 23 of the Big Sur Marathon: :D
