emw and leekohler - thanks guys , I have a ton of black and white photos...I feel you get the best sense of depth and detail with that in most cases. The only problem when taking photos of myself, I'm not used to seeing my face at such a rediculously high resolution, it's scary lol!

Well, yeah when I was in Seattle I loved the summer. Now I'm in SoCal and I hate the summer. The A/C always has to be running... 24/7. It really bites.
