Better to have the 3G capability. And if you go in a location without it, then the phone just drops back to EDGE.
It's the same as including WiFi. Nice to have as many options as possible.

Vodaphone/Orange/3 etc. all plaster their logos and modified phone OS's to include their branding. Yuck.
O2 phones are manufacturer spec, usually come with a few extras and their phones are almost always unlocked from the get-go. Though we're dealing with Apple here, so I doubt the iPhone will follow suit. But at least I have more confidence that I won't have a branded iPhone that says "Apple Vodaphone iPhone"lol
Yeah, dont want to have to buy the Apple iPhone V series. Do they still sell all their phones unlocked?
