I've already done a SMC reset. Will do a battery calibration and see how that goes. If the magsafe adapter doesn't show a green light after charging the battery to 100% then I already got an appointment with the Genius Bar.

But this Macbook is pratically brand new and I shouldn't have to calibrate the battery to get GREEN light to show on my charger.

I thought battery calibration was only to give an accurate indication of battery life/ performance? not to suddenly fix a lighting problem.

same problem

It seems as if I have the same problem as you. I don't believe it is a problem as I have the mac book air only a week now and it's been through 2 battery cycles. I will take note of the status with the next charge cycle and report back.

Ok.

Went to the Genius Bar and they will replace the Logic Board and Battery.

Before I came in for repairs the Macbook battery wouldn't even charge.

I left it to charge over night and woke up with the light green...All seems to be working.
