Hi, I'm interested to help you on this. Currently using Gpush but looking for something better.

I'm a practically new iPhone user (1 1/2 months) but long time Blackberry User and a Beta tester for 3 of their apps, latest one Smrtguard, I translated the app and Website info to Spanish.

Thanks for your consideration.

I'm interested! I am beta testing Push Gmail. I have Gmail, AOL, and Hotmail accounts. Thank you!

I would love to test. I test betas for Microsoft, Apple, and other independent companies all of the time. I have a gmail account.

I would love to beta test Push Gmail. It would be interesting to see an app to rival GPush. Will the final release be free or $0.99? I also have 2 Yahoo Mail accounts and an old AOL account.

I'd be interested...i'm currently using prowl, and find the growl forwarding pretty slick, but would like to test another, simpler option for my wife's use. (plus, i only have 1 server, and prowl will only forward one email/notification set)

I'm interested in betatesting. I've been a betatester for the game hellgate London. I also have a gmail and hotmail account.

i would really like to beta test this app for you guys. I'm going in to the gaming industry once i graduate, so it would give me experience as to what really goes in to beta testing phase of a product. i do have a gmail account and would love to know when i get an email without having to check it manually.

hope to hear from you guys soon. :)

So far so good.

Better GUI than Gpush, no confusing setup like Gpush, no need to be afraid of re-enter the app once it has been setup the first time, in Gpush, once you enter the app it automatically tries to validate your account, again, this caused a lot of issues when they went live where the app worked until you re-enter the app and it re-validated your credentials.

Push notification; I sent me a test email and it got pushed in less than 10 seconds after I sent it, it was notified in both app at the exact same time, so it's a tie in that department. The notification box in this app is more informative than the one in Gpush, it contains, sender, Subject and I think a couple of lines of the body of the message

So like I mentioned, so far so good, it definitely looks better than Gpush plus the benefits of having the option for AOL emails also.

installed this last night... push notifications have been coming steadily and within 3-5 seconds

i think the best part about this app is way the notification's are formatted...very readable and gives only the relevant information ie no email addresses

I'm a little late but if you need another beta tester let me know.

i would love a good push program to come out for gmail.

I'm very happy with this app so far. No hiccups and it pushes fast. battery life drops much faster though but it could be bc it pushes a lot of email.

So far so good. Installed last night after updating. At first nothing came through but realized that I still had a gmail filter on to forward to yahoo mail for forwarding. After it was forwarded it was set to mark as read. Once I turned off mark as read it started to work fine. So far has been very fast. I have left forwarding to yahoo on as well to see which is quicker. Strangely it seems to sometimes be mail notifier and others the yahoo. Haven't noticed a pattern to that yet. I really like the interface and its nice and easy set up. Haven't noticed the battery drain yet but was traveling with a charger most of the day.

I'd be very interested in this as a beta tester and final product for gmail and diffently hotmail when it is added.

So far this has been working really well. I turned off forwarding to yahoo and have just used this as my mail alert. It has missed on or two occasionally, but has worked great overall. I really like the message window, it displays enough info to let me know if I need to go get the email right away or if it can wait. Still haven't noticed a significant battery drop.
One thing that would be nice if possible is to have an off switch inside the app. I use the phone as an alarm so I leave it on at night. I have to go into settings, notifications and into mail notifier to turn off forwarding to not have the phone buzzing off and on through the night. Not a big deal really but it would be really nice to just hit the icon and have an off button there.
Thanks again for what is so far a really great app.

Hi Derek. I'd be interested in beta testing this app (I've also tested you USMS app).

I currently have GPush, and am also testing PushGmail app.
