Mail is fixed..sort of!
OK, I called Apple. The guy I talked to was very helpful.
My Comcast POP account is fixed, Yahoo, kinda.
He told me to do a reset on my iPhone. Hold the Home button and the Sleep/on/Off button at the same time.
This seemed to fix it. I actually did it twice.
Now I can receive email for Comcast.
Yahoo was fixed for bit, but now doesn't work.
He had me do the same reset again.
It was strange. I had my wife send me a Test email. It worked. Her email was listed above where it (still) says "Load 9 messages, 1 unread.
I was able to read her email. She sent another one, it worked also.
Third time, not the charm!!
I received it. Saw the email notification, and the iPhone alerted me to the email, but I couldn't retrieve it.
The Apple tech said it seems like Yahoo is storing some old emails on the server and every time I access my mail it trys to bring them over.
He said to try (he wasn't sure how) to get the mail off my yahoo server.
I'll keep you posted.
