Alright i had a white macbook and i had to sell it for a macbook pro because of my major, I love both computers.
The macbook,
the magnetic latch is amazing, i don't like trying to fit my fingers into the MBP release latch.
The keyboard on the Macbook is quite amazing and it very easy to adjust too.
When having to switch to the macbook pro I was upset because of the size of the MBP, I wanted a super mobile computer that had power, well both computers have proven that.
One thing i did notice is when i got my macbook pro i noticed a jump in speed, after doing some thinking i attributed it to the Dual Channel ram, im talking about a CD by the way, the 2 gigs in the macbook can't run dual channel because it shares part of the memory for the video card. I was still able to use Photoshop and Flash with the macbook, but the processors were the same both with 2 gigs of ram.
With the macbook pro its much easier to hook up a external display also, the macbooks, atleast when i got mine, did not come with the mini dvi to dvi adapter.
In conclusion the main difference between the 2 notebooks is the size, and if you are going to play games, or do graphic design or movie editing.
If you don't care about size or money i would go with the MBP.
Both laptops are amazing, either one you will enjoy.
