I've used it as my main, and only, OS since day 1. Never had any major issues. Beta 1 had issues with Safari/YouTube, but I switched from HTML5 to Flash and it's been ok. I also get random crash popups with Safari, but nothing actually crashes. Just click "ok" an go back to what I was doing.

It's my main OS. Had a backup before I did the install so not too worried. Only worried about my photos since everything else I have is cloud based so I will probably wipe an re-install fresh when it's Gold.

I just switched back to Mavericks. Couldn't stand the bug where my Internet would choke up totally every few minutes (for every machine I have, including ios devices). Anyone else experienced this bug? Or just incompatibility with my router? Asus n56u

I haven't installed Yosemite yet, but I've been experiencing this bug on my iPad and iPhone. My router is an Netgear R7000.
I was going to install DP3 today as my main OS, but now I'm reconsidering it. I see that you posted that before DP3 was released, so maybe they fixed the bug in DP3? I'm still experiencing it on iOS 8 beta 3, though, so I'm not sure how likely that is.

I've been using the new builds since release. The first builds of Yosemite, and iOS were bad enough that I almost did a wipe.

The current builds though are actually pretty good so far. If you aren't doing anything specific that requires you to use them though I would reiterate to avoid for the time being.

Yosemite is stable right now, but it is slower in certain areas then Mavericks. Same goes for iOS 8.

If you do decide to install any of the builds, please have good backups, and just plan on having to do a restore at some point. It's inevitable.

I've had to do restores back to the latest stable build from Apple at least 1 time for Mavericks, iOS 6, iOS 7, Mountain Lion, and probably before then. Not always in the first few builds, but there seems to always be just one that is so bad you can't do anything with it in the mix.
