I have not picked up on that...what does it mean? ....user replaceable?

It's not glued etc. It has pull tabs like the iPhone.

The new MBPs have user serviceable batteries...no need to baby them anymore.

Are you sure? All MacBook batteries can be replaced by apple. On some MacBoos easier than others. So there shouldn't be any difference if users replace the batteries themselves.
