If you ask Siri where you parked your car, it will pull up Apple Maps and show you where your car is parked (for those that didn't know about this Siri feature).
I just ask Siri. In all honesty I don't need to be constantly reminded where I left my car. Lol
I'm pretty sure Apple does this on purpose. If you are forgetting you parked your car at your house you probably have bigger things to worry about.
I like how it works with my aftermarket head unit.
so you don't park at malls? sporting events? city blocks that all look the same? your home isn't the only place to park a car bro

After I did a clean install and reset all settings, it started working again (briefly). Now it is more miss than hit, at showing in the notifications widget. I hope Apple can get this fixed.Yes, that worked, thank you. I'm still wondering why there are no notifications even though they are enabled. At this point, parked car only works as a hidden Siri feature.
Thank you, that was very useful info.If you ask Siri where you parked your car, it will pull up Apple Maps and show you where your car is parked (for those that didn't know about this Siri feature).
It worked this morning after I parked the car at work. Come back home and I am back to it not showing. Very weird.
From my experience it doesn't show home if you have the location saved as your home in your contact card. It shows me where I've parked everywhere else apart from when I'm at home as well, so I just assume they have set it that way under the assumption that we know where it's parked when we're at home (maybe - could easily be a bug)
I would think there would be a distance limit for where it considers you to be at HOME or some other named location. I haven't played with it but I would think if you're 100 yards from home it would not consider you home. Maybe someone can do some testing - if you live in a big apartment complex and the parking was at one end and you are in your apartment would it then notify a location?

Which device do you have? In my case, I've got an iPhone 5s and it has never works "parked car" feature.
However, my girlfriend has got an iPhone SE and parked car works fine since day one with my car...
I've read in other forums that the issue is focused on iPhone 5s model.
I've tried EVERYTHING, the only thing I haven't tried yet is restoring my iPhone as new phone and reinstall everything...however I prefer waiting for iOS 10.1 and seeing if the issue has been addressed...
Just for info, my garage is 30-yards away from my apartment, and Maps shows 'Parked Car Near Home, 30 yd'.
Can't try it any closer, unless I park in my downstairs neighbour's kitchen!
