I’m upgrading from a XS Max, same size as the 11 Pro Max.

I like the current Max size and worry the 12 Pro Max’s 6.7” will be too large to hold comfortably. I also worry about downsizing to the smaller Pro model as this will take some adjustment, as well as forego the top features.

Trying and returning will be a challenge due to stock availability no doubt.

What are other Max users upgrading to?

I also have a XS Max and will be upgrading to the 12 Pro Max in Silver.

I'm on a 11PM and I can't decide if I want to downgrade to a 12P or stick with the 12PM.

The 11PM is great but sometimes I find it hard to handle, especially when I try and take a photo using one hand.

But I'm not sure if the smaller screen size in the 12P will be very noticeable and I don't want to wait 3 weeks to get the 12PM.

Downgrading to the 12 from 11 pro max. Don’t need the fancy camera or stainless steel.

I have this same issue! I dabble in photography so I want to hold out for the 12PM but I can’t decide. My husband can upgrade in December so I’m thinking about going with the 12P and then seeing the photo comparisons to decide if I want the 12PM and just swap with him.

I'm XS Max going to 12 Pro Max 256 in Pacific Blue. I know they're huge, but I love my big screened iPhones, especially for reading books, gaming and YouTube. Pre-pandemic, it was nice to travel on shorter trips with just the phone as my media device and leave the iPad Pro 11" at home. (Long trips iPad Pro still comes along). Now in COVID-world, no travel. :/

I have grown tired of the pro Max’s heft so am thinking 12 pro as I am on the IUP.

But for this I’d probably not upgrade, was really wanting 90 or 120 he. Infact if I was not on IUP I’d probably be looking for a cheap 11 pro.

Going from XS Max to 12 Pro. Sometimes the Max is just too bulky for me. I've had Plus/Max phones since the 6s so we'll see if I end up liking it or not.

Likely going for a 12 Pro, from an 11 Pro Max. Had an XR prior and I really liked the size. The Max is a bit giant, for not much gain.

Better camera is tempting... But in practise I doubt it will make much difference in my amateur hands.

Going from my XS Max to a 12. I’m honestly sick of the massive size and the only reason I’m upgrading is to get a smaller phone.

I have the 11 PM and am iup. I am tired of the heft of it and not being to text one handed all of the time. That being said, I really want the better camera so I am really torn!

Is the 12 pro the same exact size as the XR or say the 10 ? I’m still undecided to go pro or max

I have an 11 Pro Max and I've been debating downsizing. I had a XS for work and felt it was a little too small, so maybe the 6.1in screen on the 12 Pro will be the sweet spot.

I found the Max too big for one handed use. Doing this little balance on my pinky finger while stretching my thumb as far as I can go to hit the opposite side of the screen is getting old. Surprised I haven't dropped it yet doing that.

Just afraid I'll miss the large screen, bigger battery, and the difference in cameras.

I am relieved all 12's support all types of 5g bands though in the US.
