12 Pro Max has a better camera than 12 Pro so I have no choice, but I really wanted 12 Pro. Tired of the Max. The body of 11 Pro Max was already annoying on the go, and 12 Pro Max is even bigger.
Same but the smaller battery in the 12 Pro may mean I won’t get a full day of use like I do with the 11PM?
I’m planning on going from 11PM and leaning toward 12P right now. I’m definitely getting a little tired of the large size.
And with an iPad Pro and MBP I’m finding much less need for the bigger screen real estate.

omg yes! My poor pinky is screaming at me everyday as holding the base of the phone with my pinky and typing with my thumb is 90% how I used it.
My pinky aches just reading these comments lol. I was tempted to get an iPhone 11 Pro for the extra camera but the 12 is so much lighter. It is going to be a joy to use.
I think the 12 pro is same size as XR so May be perfect since it between the max and the xs
My very non scientific way to compare the sizes of the 11PM, 12P and 12PM. My 11PM has an Apple leather case on it. Dimensions are from the Apple website

Despite a better camera in the 12 Pro Max, I’m moving to the smaller 128GB 12 Pro from a 256GB 11 Pro Max. My take on the camera situation is that the 12 Pro is still an upgrade from any of the older iPhones. We’ll see how I feel next year, but I think the smaller size and reduced cost will be worth it.

Getting the Pacific Blue 12 Pro Max. Currently have an 11 Pro Max. Love the screen size. I think the 12 Pro Max has great camera tech and it has LiDAR. There are going to be a lot of AR apps using the LiDAR.

I am in the same boat. I have the 11PM and am worried about the phone being too big. I am trying to decide between the Pacific Blue or Silver 128. I never used a quarter of memory of my 256gbPicture comparison.

Those are the 2 colors I am undecided on except with 256GB. I’m at 67.2GB on my 256GB XS Max. Holding the 12 Pro Max dummy unit in my hands actually felt comfortable because of the squared edges and didn’t hurt at all. I can’t comment on the weight of the 12 Pro Max.

Because of the situation this year, I decided I would get the iPhone 12 Pro for work and the get the Max for personal. After using the iPhone 12 Pro since launch, I fell in love with size. So, I went an bought it for my personal phone as well.
I will look at the Max again next year, but as long as the keep the regular pro size, I may just stay with it.

Same idea, except going gold.
I Thought that I could deal with a smaller phone, but the 6.1” Pro just too hard for me to type on And I miss big screen. I’m a 2 hander for typing.
so already packed the 12Pro and sent that gold bar back.
