Being used to the 13" screen, I was a bit worried about fatigue when looking at the smaller screen. However, after a full day of I was quite surprised at how easy it was to adjust.

The 11.6 is really a marvel of design with the right compromise of performance, weight and battery life. The only thing lacking is storage. The 11.6 with 256GB SSD and/or USB3 would be near perfect.

I originally bought the 11.6", but I took it back because of storage and the size of the screen. 11.6" should be fine for some, but the 13" is the perfect size. Even a 15" or 17" screen is big for a laptop, IMO.

+1 for the 13.3" over the 11.6"

unless you really want a smaller form factor, the compromises are way too many.

and when you spec the 11.6" up with 1.6ghz and 4gb memory then compare it to the 13.3" with 1.86ghz and 4gb memory, the price difference is a couple of bucks if that.

as said, you've really gotta want the smaller form factor.
I took one look at the 11.6" vs the 13.3" and knew that the larger screen is going to have to be easier on the eyes and with less scrolling over long periods of work/play time

I haven't bought an Air, but I have used then a few times. O agree with this post and others like it. I just found the 11" machine to be really cool, but ultimately too small. I'm also taller (6'4") and one thing I noticed which no one has mentioned is the much smaller trackpad on the 11". I didn't think there was enough vertical space to use the trackpad easily.

Everything about the 13" felt more naturally sized to me. Plus it has the sd card slot which I would think is nice for extra media storage and easy file transfers from your main computer.

I'm using a Vaio P as well and I HATE it  my worst purchase ever..
Now I'm wondering if I'd have the same feeling with a 11.6 screen, I could never forgive me making twice the same error, but I travel more than 9 months in a year, so the 11 one is a real tempation for me....!!

really?

the vaio P feels like my best purchase ever possibly even better than my iphone :p

im ok with the 8" screen. mine's the model with the 64gb SSD and 1.86 atom
