My dad had a MacBook Pro at first, but he broke that, so got him a MacBook Air; that was 3 years ago. He does the basic stuff and that's it, so it was a perfect choice.

Anyways, just replaced it with the latest 13"; he's liking the faster speed (seeing his old one was the 1.6/2/80 model and the new one is the 2.13/4/256 model); the SD slot is nice for his photography needs and the added screen resolution is good.

Also, mine flew off the top of the toolbox in my pickup truck and bounced down the highway (a case of near-criminal stupidity on my part) and it still works!

Great story! Bet Apple would pay a pretty penny for a video of that action. Also bet you were positive your Air had gone to computer heaven.:)
