Maybe the Best?

I should be, for the sky high price premium!

Apple pricing is nearly extortion.

I would challenge you to find identical specs on another laptop for less. It just isn't out there!

BTW - My 13" Ultimate is by far the best computer I have ever owned or used!

Why?

What's the MBA going to be able to do for you when Sandy Bridge comes out that it can't do now?

Honestly? I DO notice some stuttering from time to time (1.6Ghz 11"). Scrolling huge webpages, processing large photoshop files and so on - you sometimes notice the lack of power, although in 99% of the cases it hasn't been a problem for me.

Don't get me wrong - I'm just saying that a faster processor would be nice and noticeable in some aspects. It's still the the best laptop I've ever owned by far. I have a uniboody 13" too that I thought was the best laptop ever before buying the Air.. Now the 13" just feels huge and heavy :p. I hope to see the Air evolve with Sandy Bridge, Thunderbold port, backlit keyboard and similar features, because I'll be using Airs for years to come.

Also, SB's lower power consumption is also nice, you can never get too much battery time :)

You joined just to make that post

If you hang around, it's possible you may learn something ... you're at the right place ;)

Sky high prices from Apple? I've never understood that statement. Apple has saved me money and SO MUCH more.

Apple's cost of ownership is lower for me ... they tend to last me twice as long compared to computers made by other manufacturers ...

But that's just money ... there's more -

#1 Stress - I recall the days of Windows machines and windows very well, the poor screens, keyboards, viruses, updates ETC ETC

#2 Convenience - there is NOTING like the MBA, size, weight, performance, ease of use ETC

#3 Resale Value - A used Mac holds it's value much more than any Windows machine.
