I find it interesting to note the similarity in pricing for the same Ram/SSD specs with educational pricing:
13" MBP (2.3 i5 / 4GB / 128GB SSD) = $1324
13" MBA (1.86 C2D / 4GB / 128 SSD) = $1339
Only $15 more for the Air...
Similarly, there is only a small difference (~ $50) between those with 256GB:
13" MBP (2.3 i5 / 4GB / 256 SSD) = $1684
13" MBA (1.86 C2D / 4GB / 256 SSD) = $1639 [or $1729 w/ 2.13 C2D]
So prices are fairly similar for those looking to get an SSD in their macbooks. I guess it mostly comes down to the tangible differences regarding CPU power, Superdrive, Ports, and Portability.
Then again, if you're fine with a traditional HDD, then you save money by going with the 13" MBP.
