Hey people,

I'm totally new to the Mac Community and just received my new MacBook Pro. For now everything is working as expected, but..

But when I checked the quality of the case and especially the screen I found some issue and I'm not sure whether its a big thing or not.
Around the display is this black border strip just before the casing ends, usually its all black. However on my MBP there is a silver metallic thing visible, maybe the black strip isn't big enough and I can see the back of the casing.

I attached a photo and marked where the issue is found.

I'm curious if this is a known issue or others have same issues with their MBP - however in store I couldn't find another MBP with the same or a similar issue.

Also I hope someone can tell me if its just some 'beauty issue' or if I should worry.

greetings
Ben

Ps.: MBP 13 2017 with Touchbar entry model
