MBP 9.1 OpenCore -> upgrade to BigSur natively

I have been working on a cheap adapter to covernt latter Wifi Cards to older MacBook Pros, it may be of interest to those wanting to install Big Sur on these older machines as it will enable native WiFi and Bluetooth support.

We are currently stuck on Big Sur 11.2.3
You can’t upgrade to 11.3 and newer due to issues with race condition ruining your boot drives, even with latest Open Core package.
So far a solution has not been found.

This is not the case anymore. OC updated, running 11.6 on MBP 9,1 (it now has post install patch)

How did you get the two video cards available in Big Sur ? I have made a 087 Opencore version with Catalina patch for wifi and Bluetooth I can get either HD 4000 or GT 650M I would like to get both thanks Guys

Not sure if that applies anymore, since the new version of opencore shows me both video cards as Metal, not sure what they are doing now.... But I do have metal and video acceleration on Ventura 13.1
