nice one

did know what MBP it is?

the 2.4 or 2.6?

though 2.4 will have a tiny bit difference with 2.6

He has...

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.4Ghz 4MB L2 Cache
Corsair 4GB DDR2 PC-5300
nVidia GeForce 8600M GT
Seagate Momentus 160GB 7200 RPM HD
Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard (140GB) - Primary
Windows XP Pro (20GB) - Secondary

It's on his YouTube page ;)

I read on Gamespot that they performed a benchmark test of the various video cards and the one that scored highest was the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX SLI. This also was significantly higher than the GeForce 8600M GT which is in all the MBP's. Are these differences negligable and or is it possible to upgrade the the 8800? Is this also what the "rumors" are speculating will arrise from MWSF in Jan?

Thanks

No, you won't be able to upgrade the video card in your MBP. Hell, I think Apple solders the thing onto the motherboard. Also, it's difficult to find mobile video cards on the market, as they're typically not available to consumers. And even for laptops that don't have the video card soldered onto the motherboard, you run into a few problems when wanting to upgrade the video card. One is the additional heat output. Another is finding the video card. And, the size of the new video card.

Those who claim that they can max out Crysis on any MBP are lying. People have enough problems maxing out Crysis on an 8800GT, a quad core processor and 4 gigs of RAM.

While the MBP has a lot of power for its size, there are Dell laptops that are available for about 700 bucks cheaper that has the same video card, same processor, same amount and speed of RAM.
