Wow, so many people saying that theirs is the same! Mine, thankfully, is perfect. Nothing but straight lines on the front, same goes for the only other chap I know at work with an MBP.
It's definitely NOT normal, and as others have said, will be under the terms of the warrantee. In the past I've returned a PB because the keyboard looked to have a slight bubble effect in the top right corner - barely noticeable but it was there. Pretty much like your warp. Took it back, the guys at the Genius Bar were great - it was a simple case of them confirming the defect and going out back to get me a new PB!

Get yourself to the Apple Store - they're very understanding with things like this in my experience.

I had a similar bow near the latch, on top of the release button, on my 12" PowerBook G4. When I showed it to the geniuses at my local Apple store they told me I'm SOL. It's nice to hear that others have had better luck though.

I'm surprised too that people would say this is 'normal'. Common? yes. Normal? No! If it were normal, then apple's product pictures would be warped too....

I've had both kinds: the warped and the straight so there are straight ones out there. Apple's designers obviously did not intended for the corners to warp up like that and Apple geniuses should be called on it.

GOod luck. Get it fixed and force Apple to deal with these things. This problem has existed for years and they just don't seem to care. If we force them to replace under warranty they WILL have to care.
